- Leave a review, or otherwise get in touch about work we’ve carried out.
We also collect some technical information automatically when you visit our website, via Google Analytics – see Section 4 below.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information you give us to:
- Respond to your enquiry and provide a quote.
- Arrange, carry out and follow up on any work you ask us to do.
- Keep records for our own accounting and legal obligations.
- Occasionally ask for a review after a job is completed (we never buy, sell or trade this information, and we don’t use it for marketing you haven’t asked for).
We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling, and we do not sell your personal information to anyone.
4. Cookies & Analytics
When you first visit our website, you’ll see a cookie banner asking whether you’re happy for us to use Google Analytics (GA4) to help us understand how visitors use the site – for example, which pages are popular and how people find us. We do not set any analytics cookies until you click “Accept”. If you click “Decline”, no analytics cookies are set and no data is sent to Google Analytics.
You can change your mind at any time by clicking the “Cookie Settings” button, which stays visible on the site and lets you reopen the banner to accept or decline again. Your choice is remembered on your device so you’re not asked again on every visit, until you clear your browser’s stored data or use a different device or browser.
If you accept, Google Analytics uses cookies and collects information such as your approximate location, device type and browsing behaviour on our site, on an anonymised/aggregated basis. This data is processed by Google; you can read Google’s own privacy policy at policies.google.com/privacy. We don’t use any other cookies or tracking beyond this.
If you click our WhatsApp chat button, you’ll be taken to WhatsApp (a service provided by Meta) to send us a message – this is subject to WhatsApp’s own privacy policy, not ours.
5. How We Store & Protect Your Information
We take reasonable steps to keep your information secure, including restricting access to those who need it to respond to your enquiry or carry out your work. Information submitted through our website is handled via our website hosting provider and, where applicable, our email provider.
6. Sharing Your Information
We don’t share your personal information with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We may share information with trusted third parties where necessary to carry out your work (for example, a supplier or subcontractor involved in a specific job), or where we’re required to by law.
7. How Long We Keep Your Information
We keep enquiry and customer information for as long as necessary to respond to your enquiry, carry out any resulting work, and meet our legal and accounting obligations (for example, UK tax law generally requires business records to be kept for at least 6 years). After that, we aim to delete or anonymise information we no longer need.

Under UK data protection law, you have the right to:
- Ask us what personal information we hold about you, and get a copy of it.
- Ask us to correct information that’s inaccurate or incomplete.
- Ask us to delete your information, in certain circumstances.
