What Is Cold Applied Liquid Roofing?
Cold applied liquid roofing is a resin-based system applied by hand as a liquid, without any naked flame, and cures to form a single, seamless waterproof membrane fully bonded to the roof – with no joints or laps for water to find its way through. Because it’s applied cold, it’s also a safer option to install, particularly on complex roofs.
The finished membrane stays flexible, allowing it to move slightly with the roof structure without cracking, and it’s well suited to roofs with a lot of detailing – pipes, rooflights, upstands and awkward junctions – where a seamless liquid system can be easier to get right than a jointed one.
Why Choose Cold Applied Liquid Roofing?
Seamless Finish
Cures to a single, fully bonded membrane with no joints or laps – one of the main weak points on other systems.
No Naked Flame
Applied cold rather than torch-applied, which can make it a safer, more practical choice on some roofs.
Flexible Membrane
Stays flexible once cured, allowing it to move with the roof structure without cracking.
Good For Complex Roofs
Well suited to roofs with lots of upstands, pipes, rooflights and awkward junctions.
